Any Reason why you tuck the end's of straps in the car rather then loop back round the rachet and tie off on the strap?

i allways loop back through handle and tie on strap to make sure rachet can't come up?

yep... the straps are 10 mtrs long! so wrapping them up is a right pain in the rear end... i've just ordered some 4mtr ones..i dont like shutting the straps inside the car..

Looks brilliant. Nice to see you're using stow away ramps, I started with a Mk2 Transit where I had to strap the ramps to the bed underneath cars etc and it was a right sodding nuisance.

Have you had any long motors on it yet?

the truck has been busy for the last week or so...

picked up this primera and civic these are scrappage cars and are going to be squashed.... both are one owner cars the civic with 60k miles and primera about 80k... nearly seems criminal

Image

106 and passat estate from Lowestoft... also scrappage cars... passat piece of crap so not a problem.... the 106 was a tidy little tub.. ideal first car... but another one for the cuber.

Image

16ft combine header... towing the header and escorting the combine... my roof beacon has not yet arrived but the grille strobes work quite well.. the header trailer has a silly long drawbar on it ( so it can reach the hitch on the combine ) so the whole thing is way over 20 ft long... getting into gateways and round junctions is not that easy!

its got no brakes and the tyres really need changing !! i did put a new light board on it last year! it never goes much more than 20 mph anyhow.... whenever i've seen police on the road they pull over and give a cheery wave... cant argue with that!

it's crimenal the scrappage sceme....

civic and primera could been raced in bangers, but you can't even sell them on as they have to be scrapped.

donw here there was a mint mk1 nova, complete no rust 15k on the clock!!! one owner from new, couldn't even strip parts of it straight in the scrapper.

i've only done two cars this week... and i didnt wanna take a photo as i was running a little heavy....

Been working on the farm all week, busy with the harvest so i've taken a picture of some of my bales i've done 2000 odd now... and my other little toy...

Regarding thr truck i've fitted a new light bar and the digital tacho is progressing... will post photos of it when done.. should have about 12 cars to get next week..
