here it is as brought

and after a good clean up i was amazed of the condtion

so next job was gettin it running right which turnerd out to be tps sensor and a good service .
then it was bed off and chassis steamed and waxoiled

i like the look of the mk3 so i did not want to go down the road of putting a mk5 front on it , so i thought a bit of colour coding mk5 mirrors and clear indicators would bring it up to date ..

shes been on the rd for about 8mts now it is a bit thristy if you are not carefull round town but on a run its better on fuel than my old mk5 crewcab recovery truck and it will sit at 90 with a car on the back all day long (if it was leagal of course) ....i do keep toying with putting a di in but just cant bring my self to do its nice and quick and quiet too.
next job is to fit side locker , make slideaways for the alloy skids i had made and fit the power steering box i have .....ill keep you posted
