i've been building a transit artic since january so i thought i would put up a few pics of the progress.

it started of as a tipper.

like the look of the mk7 so i fitted a mk7 front end.

after the front end was finished made a start on the rear.

mudguards fitted.

a couple of pics of the trailer, it has an alloy chassis and air brakes, i bought it in december last year, towed it 300 miles home in the snow.

just could do with matching wheels on the trailer same as the transit :D

the wheels on the trailer are only 9 inches, i want to keep it as low as possible as i'll be putting cars on it.

Nice semi low stepbed what is the plated weight going to be gross and unladen

The gross can only be 3500kg on a car license.... :wink:

I would think it weighs around 3000kg unladen :shock:
