Thanks for the comments and yes I've still got a few things planned for the van
, I've just got a set of Mondeo clocks this weekend, they're in and mostly working. I couldn't get the battery or oil light to come on with the ignition but the glow plug light was on constantly. Once I took that bulb out (as my van dosent have glow plugs) the battery and oil lights worked as they should. I changed the mileage barrel for the one from my original clocks so the mileage has remained the same. The speedo, miles, temp and various lights all work fine, just got a few probs witht the fuel guage and havent wired the rev counter up yet. I've spent hours trying to get blue led's to replace the clock bulbs, got some working in there but the green on the back of the clocks still shows through and the look wasn't what I wanted
I've got a couple of ideas to trick them up a bit and will post pics if they look cool when done.
I still cant make me mind up if I'm going to put ST side stripes on again, not sure yet
I keep looking for a chrome or stainless steel A bar for the front and have got a couple of ideas for the front bumper when I get time and weather on my side.
I need a step on the back again as I use the van for work and its a pain getting in and out without one but dont want to put that standard one back on, fancy something in chrome or stainless tube but think I'll need to get it made up.
Maybe gas struts on the bonnet and back doors if poss ( the back door is a pain when the ladder is on it as it wont stay open )
Something with the wheels ? not sure what yet.
Basically it is a work van so there's only so much I can do, If I had the money I'd have a MK7 Transit sportvan in blue with the white stripes
but I'm about 20 grand short
I just want to trick mine up a bit without going too mad and keep spending to a minimum
