Good choice on the tyre size  Did you get the 101 weight rating ones ? Are you keeping it silver ? mk7'd with the sportkit in silver will look very 8) 8) have you seen Sportmans silver mk7 mwb with the sportkit ? That looks the dogs swingy bits :D

Yes I'm keepin it silver I've had a look at that van and it does look well!!! I think I'll wait till I've sourced the full sport kit till I do my mk6-mk7 conversion?? Mind you a may have to as the miss's is due to drop and she's already sick of all my spare time goin into the van lol

Well I must say I'd recommend the St conversion to anybody I've ran mine in and so far I've done a aftermarket filter and a straight through and she sounds mint!! Some roar on boost like!! I've been out all day on my travels hoping to bump into a sport van lol

It's just like driving a car, don't have to drop gears to overtake just feather the throttle and your off!! Supprised a few boy racers today also Upto now seems excellent on diesel which is good only down side is I think I'll be doing without it for a few days next week as hopefully Vantuner will have my PCM

Haha no mate the engine loom to bay loom is where my problems ly I reckon it's got my head pickled all I've got is diesel gauge I bought som mk2 Mondeo td clocks and there in at the moment I've noticed loads of differences in wires to the engine even the smart charge is acting up!! A either need a look at a 03> van to check wiring or if I could find a 03> loom I'd buy one

For instance for the Vss the wire colours on the transit loom are White withe blue stripe and brown with blue stripe iirc and I wired these directly to my Vss but no joy but when looking at autodata there's an orange for it aswell and I have a spare orange on the bay loom but don't know what to do with it and as I'm running a St engine loom there is nothing to do with a Vss on it as the Mondeo senses from the abs module....... :?

firstly seems front wings slope down dramatically compared to old so i asume new inner wings? are they costly from ford and would they need unpicking on 52 plate to graft new, i asume headlight mounts need changing again from ford? can obtain plastics lamps etc from scrappers but what metal do i need? bumperbar etc rad possible? how far are you with project and i would appreciate all help as i am desperate to convert mine, and go with st wheels etc
many thanks kevin :P :P
