I'll get the measurements tomorrow of the bits wanted

is it not worth putting a liner in. the engine shop near me charge £120.

Hi mate I need a few parts off the transit engine anyways so I might as well use the block if I'm robbing loads of the other bits haha just means I have to do the job the long way round...

the reverse light switch, easy, only 2 wires go to it, the mondeo box has a different plug just get the mondeo plug (from mondeo loom) and solder it on to the wires of the transit loom.

thats an other thing i still havnt sorted on mine the vss (speed sensor)

Mite be a daft question but if it's a reverse light why's it got a breather/vaccume pipe goin to the fuse box?

Also are u after a bare block and head? Cheers

thats just a breather pipe, the selector shaft activates the switch.

yeah still after bare block even if theres a hole in it and damaged head i scrapped 2, 2.0 and 2, 2.4s about 6 month ago didnt realise they were worth so much

Yeah mate it had the feedpipe but stripped it to the bones for the rebore place as he winges if it's got anything on it

Also the problem with the 125 engine was either crank or conrod, not sure on what was the problem is as havnt really paid attention but when I checked deck height it was down on cylinder 4 . Cylinder head and cam carrier are mint which is a bonus!!!

Just another bit of info I rang all over the place for the headbolts and the cheapest prices I was getting was £35 but out of curiosity I rang a mate from ford and got them for £26!!! Mint haha

as youve got the intake manifold that enters at no.4 side of engine id be checking the air filter box is fitted correctly, if there not fitted right water can get in and can bend rod, was there any water in intercooler???

Hi mate there was no water in the intercooler but the air filter was dripping and the intake crossover had about an inch of water in it? Airbox looked ok so I just assumed it had sucked in water?

Also the turbo had just went before I got it and the lad reckons that he had the turbo fitted dropped it down on the ramp started it and was fine for bout 30 seconds then went onto 3 but that doesn't quite add up?
