Mk2 brake proportion valve

So after long time finally putting back together my van;
And of course lost track of brake lines....
Made proportion valve manually adjustable, an need to know where to put line from beam and from master cyl, could someone tell, line from beam to A or B ?

According to my book, the line at A goes past the spring.
The line at B goes the other direction.
