MK1 ci motorhomes. many left?

Postby baconsdozen » Tue May 14, 2013 9:29 am

I saw an article this morning in the mail regarding the number of once common cars (marina, allegro etc) that have virtually vanished off the roads.I wonder how many of the CI Mk1 motorhomes are left actually on the road.Does anyone have an idea?

:)

Very few I expect.
In the past, people weren't smart enough to leave windows / roof light open a bit when they are not in use to let some air through.
Condensation does the rest.

I recently dragged a 'van in.
It was immaculate 5 years ago before it was parked.
Mouldy with damp when I got to it.

Not a leak anywhere

I meant ones that are actually on the road, not the no hope sheds and the ones that crop up every few months that they have to list again when only their mates bid for them.
