The arms are original. The (black) wiper blade unit pulls off it. That's the bit I have made to look like chrome. I have not tried to get the actually rubber bot out. Might be worth a try too.

They are the type we have on the camper reversion, but the bit that directly pushes on to the arm is kept on with a tiny nut and bolt, so it must have been repaired at some time.

Bingo - the're the ones :D

I have one with the rubber missing and one with the rubber split.

What I'm after is a replacement for these.

I've tried allsorts but I just can't figure out how to get the rubber blade out of the tooth lined strip that holds it in place :x

Any suggestions :?:

Don't think the rubber bit is meant to come out.

there is a clip on the end if you gentaly sqeeze it in and pull it out the metal strip and rubber will come out of the wiper frame ,i will have a look and see what i have in my wiper draw
the problem is the frame is very wide and there isnt any wipers on the market you could use the rubbers out of! unfortunatly i gave away a set of rubbers a few weeks ago to a guy with a D series these are the same as the transit!

No, you just hook the original adapter over the new wiper blade, then push it on to the wiper arm. It works, that's how I fitted them to the truck. The adapters that come with the wiper blades are too narrow, not too wide.

Cheers Mark - I'll have a squeeze and see what happens

Let me know if you ever come across the rubbers again, as I'd love to put these back on the van :!:

These people look like a good port of call for replacement wiper blades, arms as well as wing mirrors and wing mirror arms...

http://www.texautomotive.com/classic.html

Haven't tried them yet, but think I am going to order some wiper blades, arms and wing mirror stems.

I knew tex made the mirrors, didn't know about the wipers. I must put up some pics of my 'chromed' mirror arms.
