Hi Folks, I have the 2L pinto engine in my Mk 2 campervan, has anyone added electronic ignition or
converted to LPG.

Lots of times, i use sierra (carb) dizzy and ign modual or a Mk3 transit set up, only 3 wires BUT hard to find nowdays :?
quite a selection on ebay inc some ford ones and after market

Mk2 phase2 (194-86) has leccy ignition as standard. I didn't realise Mk2 transits had points at all till I bought a phase1!!

Done it to my pinto and now Essex V6 too....

You won't believe the difference it makes,

Fuel
Starting
Power

All better

I got an accu spark one from ebay shop less than 40 delivered


Fitted in literally 5 mins , both wires go onto ignition coil

Get one!
You'll love it
