hi there are some warning lights under the speedo clock can any one tell me what they are cheers

Do you mean the little set of 4 lights that are below the speedo, they contain a low brake fluid light, a vacuum warning light (diesels only) the other two are spare but are sometimes used for trailer warning lamps.

i have a 3 inch strip under the speedo the only light i have is choke light which is on until the choke is fully back in ,,, thats in the strip the others are marked ,,,,, v6 petrol

yes they are under the speedo i would a stip for about 4 no signs on them i have seen a red one, right side facing you, flicker what is this for ,its petrol 2ltr pinto cheers, but i have been having trouble with the brakes as if they needed bleeding having to pump them for about 25 miles, the next time i used it they had came back to life and were working normal, resovior full no leeks, any thoughts ,cheers

ive found out that the mk 2 diesals have 4 like muttley says 1 vacume gauge warning 2 brake warning 3 spare 4 pre heater warning my choke is useing the pre heater light to tell me its still out same symbal tho

If you take the strip out and look through it with the bulbholders removed you can see the symbols. For some reason the red lens is covered with a grey film from new, this can be removed with polish if you want to sse the symbols all the time :wink:

yep i took it out and had a look only the right hand side one connected (red)looked like brake res

That light only comes on just as you start the van as a test, take the small wire off the starter solenoid and turn the key to start, voila the light comes on :(
