Hi Mutley, Just joined forum having acquired a Transit Mark 2 'breadvan' minibus conversion. Runs ok but among other things needs a new front crossmember.
Are you able to fabricate one as they seem...er...a little rare!!

Yes, no problem. Is it the whole thing or just outer bits, or just the centre bit under the radiator? I can come to you or you can come to me (South London) :)

Sorry for the delay in responding - lost ability to log in to forum for several days!!

It's the whole thing.

Probably easier if I give you my email adddress (billhiron@aol.com) just incase same problem repeats!!

Is it a standard pattern you can replicate or were there different varieties on different models?

Cheers

Bill

I will cut out and replace exactly what was your original, all mountings and holes that were there before will be there afterwards. It will be made from 1.2mm steel which exceeds the original of 1mm :)

I am in Northern Ireland so getting to you might be difficult :D, what would you charge for a complete front cross member with spring hangers with postage to NI.

Thanks Norman
