Mk2 Restoration Project

Postby Munster Boy » Sun Oct 28, 2012 10:18 pm

Hi Lads,

Bought a 1985 Di swb panel van recently. Now starting to put together some parts before i start stripping, Just after buying both door steps, rear lower corners, sill etc.
My questions this: I have a 1993 Granada Ghia 2.9L injection 4x4 model that im thinking of selling, but before i do is there any thing on this car that I may need to upgrade my Mk2, if i decide to change later to petrol ?

not really a straight swap but they did fit the 2.9V6 into transits so that parts to make it a straight swap are available but rare :)

personally if i was fitting a V6 i'd go the extra bit and fit the 24v 2.9V6 and keep it auto :D
