the red country 4x4 was a left hook ex fire truck from germany, it had very very low miles on it ,, i think 21000 kilometers  , it had a sweet 2.5 pencil di turbo in it,, and it pulled better than any turbo di that ive been in,,,, its the straightest mk2 tranny ive ever come across

I recently started work for a local plant and produce auction house. I can tell you now and I was surprised, we have more LDV vans come in the car park than the Fords. We even have a couple of real early Sherpa versions still being used. There are hardly any MK3 Transits, the odd newer mark and one very poorly looking Mk2 tipper clatters it way in occasionally. The other week we had 3 Skoda pick ups, and we've had one Morris Marina pick up come in occasionally. I really was expecting to see the Fords way out in front when I started this job. Deffo not the fave around here.

Sorry way off topic, as you were chaps.
