Mk 2 headlight

Postby potters11 » Tue Apr 23, 2013 9:19 am

Hi I am after a n/s headlight for my MK2 Transit it is a T reg.
I wondered if anyone had any idea where I might beable to get one from as all the local scrap yardsc say it is too old.
It is just the glass that is smashed so do I have to replace all the headlight or just the glass I don't know
Thanks
Andy

I dont think they are handed mate. Has yours the original front with the metal grille or had the phase2 plastic grille been fitted? If the glass isnt too bad you can do a temp repair with special lights repair tape from a big motor factors, maybe halfords.

 really?!! I didnt know you could split the back from the glass. I need to know how! A van can fail the MOT for dim headlights due to the silvering in them failling.
