Mk1/2 Body Panels and Lamps

Postby dieselhead123 » Wed Apr 24, 2013 11:25 am

Hi people, thought I would post some of our products here, we are negotiating this with our suppliers in the hope of re-introducing a lot of the panels for the older vans but the existing range can be viewed here;

http://www.carpanelscatalogue.co.uk/
When you 'click' on the part, it opens a picture.

If any of you have suggestions of parts that would help with re-furbs, please post them on this thread, it will help convince our suppliers to re-start production :)

If you are unsure if the part is correct for your vehicle, please send me a pm that includes the part number of the part from the link and your vehicle details, Make, Model, swb/lwb etc, and I will check suitability for you.

The whole range, not just Transit parts, are available.

Please note that this service and discounts are intended for forum members, if you are reading this and are not a member, simply create a user name and join to enjoy the full benefits of this forum 8)

If you are a new member, and not allowed to send a message, then please post on the thread and I will contact you.

If you have any technical questions regarding part suitability, please send me a pm. I will provide you with the necessary information to make an accurate part selection, if I feel that your question is relevant to members as a whole then I will post the reply in the thread for all to see.

I will do my best to post accurate and up-to-date prices, but as these do fluctuate and as we always try to offer forum members the best possible price at all times it is best to request the current price at the time of your inquiry.

I have negotiated with my suppliers to retain the £12 fixed delivery charge, this is for ANY size order delivered to ONE address at any ONE time, (some 'highlands' and 'islands' are excluded, but other arrangements can be made), for all FORUM MEMBERS.

I can post some smaller parts directly and will do this when it is possible to do so for less than the £12 direct delivery charge, in these cases, the delivery charge will be the COST of postage ONLY.

Any of you are welcome to collect the parts from our works in North Kent, or from any of the forum meetings that we attend, in which case there will be NO delivery charge.

We are happy to post good outside the UK to forum members, should you be outside the UK, please contact us for a quote.

Happy Transiting,

TIM

Right lads, unfortunately many of the Mk1/2 parts have now been deleted from our main supplier's catalogue due to the minimal demand.

To address this we have negotiated with other parts manufactures and are now able to offer some of these other parts.

Examples are the front door step wells,

You can use the link at the beginning of the thread to check what is available through our main supplier, but if you do not see what you need then please pm me and I will check with the makers and let you know the availability.

Hi there people, I have been asked to refresh this thread, just noticed the link at the top no longer works either.

Most of these parts will fit both the Mk1's and 2's, I will indicate where the part is 'mark specific'.
Some of the parts listed here may have 'lead times' of more than a few days, please bear this in mind when arranging parts for one of these older Transits. Prices are correct at the date of post but I will always try to ensure you lads get the best possible deal.

Front door step sill, £17
Front door step, £41
Intermediate sill, SWB model, £13.50
Rear wheel arch SWB, £15
There are a number of other parts still available but temporarily out of stock, I will add these to the list as they become available. If you have a need for a part not on the list then please let me know by posting below, I will then do what I can to secure these for you.

I also have a number of 'old stock' parts;
O/S rear lower valence section, this goes from the vertical seam where the panel joins to the rear lower corner panel behind the rear bumper and is approximately 21 inches long. This has the VERTICAL slots for the rear bumper irons.
These are pressed from 'Zintec' and are £26 each.

I am happy to post any of these parts to forum members globally if required.

Hi mate, well done for posting your enquiry in the thread, this way we have a record of parts that are of interest to owners.

Years ago when the Mk1/2 vans were current, many of these parts were available, so tooling was out there.
I will contact our suppliers and express your interest, hopefully we can locate the tooling owners and convince them to produce small 'runs' of these parts.

If you all post up the parts you are interested in, I will then regularly 'direct' my suppliers to view this thread, hopefully the level of interest will result in some of these parts being 're-introduced' into the range.

Additional parts will be posted in the thread once they become available, keep an eye out for updates chaps.

That's the idea mate, let's create an interest in these panels and use it as 'leverage' to encouage the suppliers to reproduce the parts :D

How about lower door repair panels for mk1/2. Cleveland panels used to do them but not any longer.

Hi there, I had an email from a supplier yesterday, they are going to re-introduce a number of parts for us.

I will get a list up here once I interpret their part numbers.

Thats good news! How about lower rear corners for the Mk2 LWB - (the bit between the back of the arch and the back of the van below the horizontal seam)?
Thanks
