I Just bought 2 headlights off ebay they are too suit an escort has anyone ever adapated them or know whats best way? thanks

If they are the ones that fit in a plastic bowl they are a straight fit :wink:

Yeh there the ones in the bowl but there def not straight fit the van is phase 1 but has phase 2 front heres pics i hope use ecan help cause im not sure what to do

Yeah, you have phase 2 lamps in your plastic grille facelift front. I havent tried to fit phase 1 lamps in a phase 2 grille but as you have the bowls it may be possible without too much hassle :)

Would self tapping screws through the adjuster holes, with springs round the screw do the business?

If you want to be posh, you could use rivnuts that suit the adjuster screws. :wink:

If you've only got 2 screws and a doofer, it's usally possible to rig something workmanlike using summat handy. :wink:

its facelift mk 2 you need and its not them :( chop and bodge or back on the bay

the face lift model has a different mounting plate in that it protruds to allow the head light to line up with the plastic grill and also the mounting tabs on the headlight are different to the pre face lift model
