not sure about the stalks but the dash isnt mk4 escort looks like mk3 granada to me - it would be more logical as it has a granada engine that the rev counter would be a 6 cyl one
either way darren if you post another pic on the far right there is an overview of the car which shows the lights out etc. that will show what car the clocks are out of  :D

do you plan on leaving the 2.9V6 in :?: i would

It's been 30 years since I owned a Granada 8)

I think you're right about the dash....

Can't remember the stalks though1

I'll have a look over the yard as the lads are stripping

out a MINT 1984 2.8i Ghia S for Banger Racing

I'm digging it out in a few weeks, so i'll update with some more pics then. They do look like mk3 granada clocks to me too. The van is in excellent condition, except some minor rust on one arch, all doors are mint, as is the interior which is immaculate and has plastic wrapping on the front seats. I'll keep the 2.9 in it, it's perfect for what i need.. Just need to repaint it, as its been repainted in blue - i'm assuming they are all silver? This was originally.

I'm going to try to locate a set, but i know how hard that would be.
Rhd would be brilliant, but i probably will leave it LHD, i think easier and more original.
It's going to go back to silver.. I was toying with the idea of a completely different colour (maybe yellow or something) but i do think originality is best on this one.

Another one !!! Mine was blue when i bought it but originally silver i've seen them in yellow, not a good look  there was a guy selling a set of 5 ronals at battlesbridge in Aug, good condition too with tyres £250. You going to restore it ? I had to restore mine after i saw the pic  They look like escort mk4 stalks and clocks, and yours got front spoiler that mine sadly lacks :( got any more pics i'd love to have a look :D :D

Yeah this is going for a restore job... it's just a shame it's been painted the wrong colour. We think they are mk3 granada stalks, along with the clocks with rev counter.

I will desperately need some of those Ronals!

I'm hoping to use it for classic ford next year... camping in style.. but we will see how it comes along :)

Can't wait... digging it out of the barn in the next few weeks so I'll put some better pics up then :)

Not the most comfortable of places to sleep, not quite wide enough for me have to sleep at an angle  Be good to some more pics when you dig it out. If the guy that was at battlesbridge has still got the ronals i'll get his phone number.

That would be great.. really need those Ronals for this.

Well, after 4 weeks, my friend has just pulled it out of the barn this evening for me. So the Clubmobil is now rescued.

It's sat in the German barn for 11 years, but it was warm and dry in there, I believe it had heating or was insulated.

Anyway.. here's the pictures, taken just half an hour ago.

Yeah I do like the blue, but I reckon this is so rare it's got to go back to it's original colour...Although maybe a slightly shade darker silver.. not sure yet.

I need a few bits if anyone knows of any: (huge long shot I know!)

I need one swivel seat for the inside (i'm missing the middle one - I think it was an optional extra) and the Ronals.

I'll have this back in England soon, where I can start stripping it down for paint.. :)

Look quite good in blue, mine was a nasty shade of blue when i first got it. Incase you wanted to see the same van in different colours here's a few more clubmobils. They didn't all come with 2 middle swivel seats some had the bed in the middle and extra storage at the back. They were all SVO so came how you ordered them.

And you could have different style of stripes

Hope this helps out with your restoration 8) 8)

Did this carry over to the Mk3?

I just wondered because there used to be a blue Mk3 just around the corner from me with the same window arrangement but it vanished about a year ago.
