Hi guys, I would like to know I could obtain a pair of Black diamond rotors, or another brand rotor that is ventilated and cross drilled, to suit the mk1/2 transit, just like Conrad did in this thread, as I am looking at doing the same conversion, cheers

Hi guys, I have tried to contact user '"Conrod", about how I could get a set of the ventilated slotted rotors, but no response, can anybody please help me, as I will be doing this LDV conversion, cheers

Please could you share the information here ?
I'm from France and I also have a MK1 LWB, and I'm looking for a bolt-on way to upgrade the brakes.
The other option I have is to swap my MK2 dual (four ?) pot front drive train.

Could you confirm it's a bolt-on swap ?
Would the LDV conversion be a better swap than the MK2 one ?

mk2 axle is amlost a bolt on job but the mk2 axle has a flat section where it bolts to the chassis but the mk1 has an angled section so you have to make up a spacer plate thats flat on one side and angled on the other if that makes sence

id imagine an ldv one would involve a bit more modifying

Holy thread ressurrection batman!
Sorry to drag this up guys but can anyone confirm if the LDV calipers are a bolt on fit?
As I've found them for sale from here - http://brakeparts.co.uk/#!/shop/LDV/CON ... 0cylinders
And I'm very interested in fitting them to my Mk2,which I'll be using as a recovery truck.
Also does anyone have the part numbers for the brake pads?
Thanks in advance!!

yep LDV calipers bolt straight on! Just be sure to get the ones with spacers if you are using vented discs, or without if running solid discs. Also, better to find a pair with one inlet brake pipe, as some had two (just as the Transit did!) Sorry can't remember pad numbers, but should be easy to find out.

APEC Pad 61 is correct for the 4 pot calipers, (that was the brand that I used to use!) Pad 60 was for the single pot caliper.

You should be able to cross reference these
1994 Mk4 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (R.I.P.)
1997 Mk5 SWB 115 Minibus 70ps Di (Gone, but not forgotten!)
2004 Mk6 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.0 TDDi - Vantunered (Also gone)
2008 Mk7 SWB T280 Medium Roof 85PS 2.2 TDCi - Also Vantunered

Thanks for your help guys!
Conrod, the single pipe calipers are further down that page. They're the ones I'll be getting to save a lot of mucking about!

Thanks again!
