Staffs area but the guy doesn't want his number made public on a forum. If you are genuinely interested, pm me your details and I will pass them on to him first thing Monday.

sounds to me like he doesn't really want to sell but if he was offered silly money he would. Either that or he has no concept of selling anything. OR he's a greedy tight git that wants a high price but won't pay to advertise. You can't have it all! Otherwise why the secret squirrel routine?

He isn't in any rush to sell Fred.
I spotted it in his yard, asked him what he was doing with it and he basically said "i'm open to sensible offers from anyone who wants it...". I posted about it on here then went over yesterday to take photos of it and also told him about this forum. He didn't mind me putting photos up on here or telling folk about it, just that he didn't want his phone number and business address on. I'm simply respecting the guys privacy he asked for and if you see it as some kind of subversive "secret squirrel routine", then so be it.

This isn't just another Mk2 Transit. It's a unique opportunity for a Transit enthusiast.

The arches Neil were the only areas i found any rust and it isn't serious at all. I've seen Mk4/5's with really bad rot, never mind rust.....and they were on the road too! Even my Duetto has had some remedial work done on the usual Mk5 Transit rust spots (rear door bottoms and top edge of both front doors) and for it's age, my van condition is near mint.

Not sure ebay would attract the right kind of owner but i understand what you are saying. I just thought it would be nice if it found a home with a Transit enthusiast.

Not sure if that's the current or previous owner. I'll ask him.
