Ford Workshop manual?

Postby swear_bear » Fri Mar 28, 2014 1:06 am

Does anyone have a downloadable workshop manual for a MK2 Diesel?

even the paper ones were hard to find mate, let alone a download. Is it a York or Di?

Picked one up from ebay a couple of weeks ago for 99p! Didn't realise they were rare.

Mind scanning it and sharing the wealth?

In my mind it falls under fair use to scan and distribute a rare out of print and out of stock manual.

I can host it on my site for you.

I didnt think they did a Mk2 Di Haynes. We always used a Mk3 one for the engine.

Yep covers the pinto, york and Di, I could scan specific bits but there is a good 500 pages at a guess so don't really want to be doing the whole thing

Damn that you live so far away otherwise i could've scanned it for you at the uni i go to.

But you dont have to scanit all at once. Just do 20 pages a week and i can promise you that
a lot of people would be eternally gratefull.

But if you could fins it in your heart to scan the Di part for me at least the part about the fuel-pump
I'd b realy grateful :)

Looks like I just have to chance it and lock
The cam and remove the pump and try to fix it.

That would be brilliant. With the risk of sounding
greedy if you have an exploded view of the lucas
pump that would help as well. I'll post a pic in the
pump thread where the leak is.
