Apparently not in the case of the Mk1 camper that was on here - they had it away from private land and held it for 6 months before contacting the owner.....

It must be the hardest thing to steal, how do you hide something like that?

a dont think we have the full picture ? that company was liable for the transportation to a secure yard even if they had it falling of a wagon !

then on another thread it had know wheels and hubs on axle stands (muttleys) but still was taken so it was being worked on to be repaired so it wasnt in the secure compound was it

off topic but
its like we had a machine come of a trailler on the m6 shut the motorway for hours but the recovery firm took it to their secure compound and we picked it up not saying it was their fault but they took it untill we collected it
a think the same would apply to the recovery firm if their wagon lost a load

a think guy88 would now more

RAC dropped it on the street, I have been working on it where they left it ( 1/4 mile from my workshop) It hasn't been removed by the council, it was legally parked and clearly being repaired.

I hope you hear something and get it back. It seems as though nothing is safe these days.
