Type 9 5 speed box into mk2 pickup

Just got a 5 speed type 9 box to go into my mk2 pickup can anyone tell me what oil goes in the box someone told me not to use normal gear oil

Use synthetic gear oil - ford did a special oil for them to solve not being able to select 1st & 2nd while stationary unless the box was red hot. I'm pretty sure they don't have a drain plug either.

BGH have specified and given me "Comma SX75W-90" for my T9 which they have rebuilt. They claim that this is the Ford specification oil and since a good chunk of their business is building kit car T9s, I am inclined to go with what they say.

There is no drain plug as Dodgerover says.
