MISSING TRANSIT JAN 2014

HELLO My name is Russell and i own a mk1 ford transit campervan, however my van was stolen from outside my home in early January there was a possibility that the vehicle had been impounded, but as of today this is not the case
the registration mark is UTL20R the body is white as is the cab i want it back any info please post here
i need to get a definitive year of vehicle manufacture, the registration mark is UTL20R

Sorry to hear this, does your logbook not show the year of manufacture? Or is that just the date of registration

no it just shows the year of registration, as afr as u can ascertain the car is a rolling chassis from Ford which was then converted and registered into a motor caravan the vehicle was clamped by the DVLA and then vandalised by the removal contractor NSL who was disturbed whilst attempting to take the vehicle, someone subsequently took the vehicle by cutting a trailer off the front axle where it was secured the vehicle was then removed The DVLA say they dont have or know anything about this matter so it would appear the vehicle was stolen it is uninsured and was undergoing restoration any info would be helpfull thanks everyone.

That registration number seems familiar has it been on ebay at some point? Sadly if it was on the road with no tax its probably been fragged by now

the vehicle was attached tp a small trailer which was locked underneath to the front axle this was mechanicly cut off and the trailer vandalised, can you remember the ebay ad at all

Had message from owner he has got it back, council took it for 9 months before admitting they had it, currently awaiting repairs (which was where it was when I spotted it).

Not a bad memory to recognise the reg from all that time ago, now if only I could remember shopping lists, where i put my keys etc...
