MT75 it is then

Postby Di Jack Regan » Mon Jul 14, 2014 8:52 pm

Final scan from the auto doc reveals my internals in the type 9 that was rebuilt 11 months ago have failed the medical.

So I'm going down the MT route now. There are so many out there for transits and also for ldv's :-/ shout I be looking for something in particular, ie just for a 2.5di or will any one fit from any year??? My engines out of a 2000 mk5, so should I be looking at just mk5 MT's???

Fingers crossed

Just so you know, there is an MT75 with a bellhousing to fit a DOHC engine - rare but it exists. 99% are di versions but if your luck is like mine.....

Remember you will need to change the propshaft, gearbox crossmember and you will need the adaptor plate too.
