Do you have a picture of it, to show the pipe connection set up it has :?: also does it (your van) have a servo ? Its sometimes not worth the bother of fitting a seal kit (they can often cost as much as you could get a good used or "new old stock" complete master cylinder for) I have a couple for sale in the "parts for sale" section (with pics) but not sure of which transit they are for (definitely not Mk5) :?:

Seal kit didn't work for me, hope it does for you. If not there is a helpful guy at Doctor car parts they are on ebay but I would ring and check you get the right part
I ordered the wrong part but it looked the same on ebay, Then decided to make it fit (it didn't work idiot :( ). Had to buy another one. Anyway It cost £65 and here's the phone no. 0115 7270110 Good luck

Cheers, just for reference ours has the early di and the chap must've put the servo and master cylinder from the mk2 in, so the part number for the brand new master cylinder is... MCY 368

assuming your brake hoses are 40 years old, they are probaby clogged inside, like mine were. a good idea to change them while you are on .

Hi guys, I have a 1985 transit MK2 single wheel, long wheel base. Could anyone tell me which master cylinder bore size I should buy? I believe it is either 22.2, or 23.8mm
