Ford Thames guide price

Postby Di Jack Regan » Tue Jul 29, 2014 2:51 pm

Im currently negotiating the purchase of a 60-61 ford Thames Dormobile with 35K miles on it and current owner has had it for 20+ years and dry stored. Its in great shape bodywork wise and fires up on the button. original interior with dor-matic seats but the cupboards are a little wharped  .

Not much for sale out there at the mo so need some sort of guide price what they go for to help with me chopping HIS price to shreds :D

some pics..............

It is a little tired inside but the body work is very good......

Ironic really, the Thames was considered a bit of a dog, especially once the Mk1 Transit replaced it, which was better in every way. Now they are commanding similar or better money than a Tranny! We also had them in NZ (I remember a pale green one my dad owned when I was VERY young) but very rare to see them here now, most have rotted away.
