Thinking of Transit mk1 camper

Postby voodoo51 » Tue Aug 19, 2014 7:59 am

I wanted to buy VW T2 camper but got a proposal of '1977 Transit mk1 camper (by Reimo). It was made for Norway and the owner says that it has double glazing, two batteries, fully upeplen 10cm wall floor ceiling, freestanding stove, 2 l petrol engine and manual transmission.
Could you please help me with some questions.

1. What are the advantages of transit mk1 camper (i am choosing between it and VW T2)?
2. What are the dimensions and weight of this car?
3. Is it rare car or something usual?

I want to upload fotos. Please advice how to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Obviously the transit is best! I think you should expect that reply asking on here :D. Seriously though there is not much in it, its all down to taste. In the UK there is a huge difference in price, with the VW being hugely overpriced.
As for the pics, you need to upload them to a hosting service like photobucket.com then copy the code startin IMG the site gives you and paste it into the post. Full details are at the top of the gallery sections

The transit is much rarer. I can never see the fascination in the VW things but each to his own I suppose.
