new member needing a bit of help

hello new member here my name is mark i have a mk2 transit motorhome 1982 the top front corners of the dash where it meets the front windscreen are corroded quite badly is there a repair panel out there or do i need to source a second hand one any info would be appreciated thanks mark

no repair panel as far as I know.you'd either have to fabricate one or get hold of a second hand one.

The windscreen surround is usually rotten when they get to that point too, be prepared to have to weld that back up as well

i may be able to help with a patch pannel i can cut it out of the second one i have which iam cutting up ,il have to check first thow :)

as the cab is well beyond repair but the rear chassis is sound which am using for my crew cab resto

I'd fabricate new pieces myself but I have this weird thing about metal forming & get off on bashing metal. :oops:

Anyway that's by the by, Any chance of some pics of your Mk2. :mrgreen:

thanks for your help folks is there much chance of finding a decent second hand one? fabricating is my trade so i might have to give it a go i was hoping to find an easier option will stick some pics on when i get a chance mark
