just thought id share this, somone i know has this tucked away in his shed (pic of when he first got it)-
its a fairly early one, i wondered if it had been made in 65 but its registered in may 66 so was probably made in 66

not sure why it says 2490cc tho :?

You may be correct Neil.If you look behind the bumper the x member has been modified.

the odd bit is if your going to do the paperwork why put petrol :?: v6 2.5 zodiac or zephyr maybe :?: on the early transit models the v5 states just FORD and private light goods ,,panal van etc came later

They probably tried to but DVLA didn't take any notice, my Range Rover is still logged as a 3.5 diesel despite my best efforts to get it changed to 4040 cc and the log book for the transit went back again a couple of weeks as it is logged as a 1600 rather than a 2 litre.
As I put in the letter to them this time all I am required to do is inform them, not jump through bloody hoops trying to get them to believe me, not going to bother trying again if they don't change it this time.
