air filter

Can anyone tell me were i can get a air filter for my mk1 tranny with v4 engine.Seen them on ebay,but wot else will fit. cheers

Yes,not very helpful was it?
I've got a 2litre V4 and some old packaging for filters I've used
I'll give you the specs but you'll have to wait til I can get home!
If you go in to an old style motorists shop(the type that doesn't rely totaly on computers
and will have a parts book undert'cownter)
and ask for: Ford Essex v6 or v4,Corsair air filter you'll
probably get a result, as this filter style was v.popular

Halfords :HAF204
Coopers: AG165
Thought I had some more but they're for Oil Filters.
On the back of the Halfords one I've made a note
that it fits my (standard type) Filter Housing with"A little bit of a squeeze"
I've used the same source for a while now so i think
you'll be ok

Thanks for info. Made some enquiries at local car shop and they got me one no prob. Anyone wanting info let me know. Thanks again for your input.
