Postby Magnum13 » Thu Oct 30, 2014 3:35 pm

Hi
(new here :)
I have Transit mk1 (1975)and now have found 16" wheel Pirelli 175/75-16C
Q is, do they fit on my Ford?

6x180mm
ET105,5
Centrum 138mm

Thanks

no, Mk1 is 6x170mm. May be possible to redrill them in between the existing holes though? But you would have to take the tyres off to do so.

Hi, i have made the exact same mistake, i brought a 2000 model rolling chasis, thinking the rims would bolt staright up to my mk1, no no no  , i tried to re-drill the holes, but that turned into an aboslute nightmare, even with a Magbase drill, it was near impossible, i ended biting the bullet and having the professionally modified, which he cut the centre out and replaced it with a remade centre to suit the mk1 stud spacing, the weld job was done very good, but at just over $600 aussie later, it hurt the pocket.
