Mk2 5 speed gearbox

in my mrk 2 has a box like this and still have the gear lever as well but no engine but i have got a di to go into it

Yeah and its coming with an Mt75 box hangin on the back of it

so no need for me 4 speed box so a think this will be up for sale, i think il get it reconditioned to make more money on it

They did fit the 5 speed type 9 into the MK2 for the last year of production, i had a new one with a Di in '85.

Really?! I was going on the brochures and also we were never offered the 5 speed in 1986

Never seen a type 9 in a new mk 2 but seen a few overdrives though.

New problem... swap done but the starter didn't work properly, do i need the mk3 starter?

Any 86 - 2000 should be okay, but the pre 96 bosch one is the best one

Can i use a mk3 turbo manifol on the york 2.4 diesel head?.. it will fit?
