Front end ID please

Postby mcmental » Tue Jul 14, 2015 5:10 pm

Hi there, I know my vehicle isn't transit but from what I can gather it's a transit front end, I've traced the part numbers on caliber and is shows as mk1, can anyone give me a positive id please? I'm needing to buy some rod ends and obviously want to get correct ones.
Many thanks
Chris

hubs look like they could be transit - obviously machined down - the beam i can't see that being transit :? unless its very heavily modified - cut and shut in the middle may be?

nice car tho 8)

looks like it is all Transit to me. Late Mk1 or Mk2 (all years) Someone has boxed the front beam axle, and possibly narrowed it. Discs/hubs have been modified to change bolt pattern, and countersunk screws fitted where normally bolt heads protrude, to clear the wheel rims. Rod ends and drag link look like Transit as well. You should be safe to order a couple of Transit parts there I am sure :)

Janspeed twin turbo Rover V8 by any chance?
