Shut off engine problem

Postby agort02@gmail.com » Wed Aug 31, 2016 3:58 pm

Hi,

When I turn the key to 0 the engine won't shut off.
Who has a suggestion what could be wrong here and knows how to fix it

I have been investegating, couldn't find de solenoid so I went to a Ford dealer to ask for help.
Seems my car is even "old school" becouse there was nothing there to find :P .

If you can give an/some other suggestions that would be realy great.

I found some information about these problems on old mercedeses.
In stead of a electronic device like you mensioned they have a "vacuum valve"
that works the same but mecanicly.

I can't 'translate' this information to my car but maybe someone knows more here?
