Value enquiry of Mk 1 Transit campervan in a sad condition.

Postby Nickredbelly » Thu Oct 05, 2017 4:39 pm

Hi All

Through circumstance only I am looking to sell my beloved old Mk 1 Camper Big Bertha. I have held onto her for more years than is good for her stored outside with the intention of restoring to original granduer. I,m afraid that through ill health and financial strain that this now looks impossible. She needs lots of welding done underneath in all the usual areas and lots more things besides. I do not want this old beast to be scrapped. My wife and I have had many wonderful times in this van travelling all through Europe over the years and would like someone else to have similar enjoyment. She must go to an enthusiast with time money and energy to sort her out. I will supply a few pictures when I suss out how to load them to this site. Could anybody give me a very rough idea as to how much demand there may be for such ventures and how much would my Big Bertha be worth.

Thanks for reading this.

By the way I am located in Folkestone Kent.
