1972 Mk1 Transit with 2.5DI engine

Postby jrp1 » Fri Mar 17, 2023 1:55 pm

Hi
I purchased this transit with the 2.5Di engine swap completed, however the front leaf spring are almost horizontal, I have noticed on Motomobil the following shock absorbers (Front axle shock absorber oil pressure (with integrated spring for high load) https://www.motomobil.com/products/vord ... 43221000-1 would these help the with the leaf spring issue?

You would be better off changing your springs or having them re tempered I wouldn’t want to put extra load on the inner wings of a very old van
