MK1 Fibreglass Bonnet

I've never seen one of those rubber strips on any of my 3 metal bonnets nor my nice shiny fibre one

However I do have a slightly unconventional air filter that has never given me any probs in the rain (and we are talking Scottish rain here )

the strip is unlikely to be found on many ,its just mine has only done very low miles so it survived!

Updates? The post is five years old I think Welsh Russel (and it seems MadMark) moved on to fresh pastures many moons ago.
