the only ones on there are brand new.....and i doubt they'd be less from a carb company...

Put john craddock land rover in the search engine, then try the part numbers

JC269 which gives a complete Webber coversion for a landy which should be a34 Ich - Ive used tranny ones on landies and vica versa

or try ERC2886N which gives a new Zenith which are pretty nasty but which i have had fitted to a essex V4 and it worked quite well and at that price i'm sure it will work bettrer than nowt!

Also worth quick call to craddocks anyway as they may well have a used webber carb as take off, as you won't need the adaptor.

thanks ollie - ive found a fomoco carb for a 1700 v4 on ebay so im going to bid on that and if that dosent work.....no transitmania :( ...not in the van anyway

forgot to mention the prices: the zenith is 53 quid and the complete kit is only 82!
