'W' Reg Mk6

Postby Scotty86 » Sat Jul 05, 2008 9:29 pm

Was following a 'W' Reg tipper on my way home from Dundee this afternoon and seen it was fitted with mk6 seats and the mirrors but never thought anything of it, until i overtook it and realized that it was actually a mk6. Never new the mk6 came out as a W reg thought it first came out as a X reg.

Yeh there's a few about, we had yellow mk6 crew cab tippers at the council in W & X regs, have noticed some of my old workmates drivng round in yellow mk7 crew cab tippers now, must be updating the fleet.

Talking of rare vans I spotted a mk3 panel van with a spec lift on the back on the A92 near Lochgelly yesterday. A rare sight on it's own......but it was being driven by a woman(!) :o

Mk6 came out on a w reg mostly lwb and tippers as there was more old stock of the mk5 swb to get rid of.
