engine diagnostic light on smiley issue 2.5TD automatic

Hello people my enging diagnostic light keeps coming on and putting my engine into safehome mode, I was advised by this site to change cambelt and check timing.
Madgoose sent me a wonderfull step by step diagram of how to change which i followed exactlly with no issues, cambelt all done and all 3 locking pins are spot on.
took van out and light still an issue althoug it does not seem to come on as much, could it be timing is out a tiny bit and how would i adjust this???? or are there any other things it could now be.
I do know this is a drive by wire van if that makes sense and was told this may be an issue.
This is driving me absolutely mad now. if theres a mechanic here that could point me to some other ideas that would be great or even better if someone could call me for a chat of exactly what i could do on 07543 638 067 my names neil... thankyou and pleeeeaseee help....... oh and i also put new cambelt tensioner on aswell...

Where are you neil? It would be a good idea to plug in to some diagnostics, but most readers won't work correctly on it...

I am on the tiny little isle of wight... was told i may need new throttle body... trouble is shes an auto.. not sure if i believe that to be problem though if im honest... and if she was drive by wire surely a cable throttle would not fit..

I don't know anyone on the IOW who has the right diagnostic equipment - if you were to come across the water I could get the codes for you... Is Mealic is still going across? I would be happy to lend him my diagnostic box
