What PS?

Do you want more revs? Or more power? Or just more driveability?

When did it last have a proper service? - clearances, cambelt, filters?

If the last one was an 80PS or a TD then a 70PS will feel a tad slow.

PS is the Euro standard powet rating, bit like good old fashioned British Horsepower, but you need more of them for the same effect lol.

Would guess it's a 70PS as most BT vans were, and it's probably got the pump set for 'reliability' rather than speed.

Give it a right good service - inc clearances and cambelt as it might be all it needs - but giving the pump a wee tweek never hurts.

The flap is only there because of the way the egr works, once it's out of the equation the flap is as good as usless.

Like euros

I would start with a good service - change oil, filters (oil, fuel and air), check clearances etc. before doing any mods.
No good modding an engine that is already struggling to breathe because it is all clogged up.
