well last night I tied the butterfly up with a tiewrap and adjusted the fuel pressure by turning the screw 1.0 turn clockwise and the difference is amazing !
I warmed her up round the village first and it was clear that she was trundling along energetically on virtually idle.
I then charged up our nearest hill which is half a mile long ,twisty and a steep 250ft climb and I had to back off the throttle on the bendy bits !... wow!....
I even managed to get in 4th gear comfortably near the top and she was accelerating the whole time.
If you read this and haven't yet done this simple mod you owe it to yourself. This is a 3x Ton LWB campervan ,imagine what a difference it would make to an empty van ! think about it
I'll order up a blanking disc today and fit that and make sure I keep that link rod somewhere safe in case I need it for the MOT .....now where have i left my keys?.......
