powvan, his phone number is 07564363467 forgotten his name now. He said to me that he would be prepared to make some more up if there were ten pairs or more ordered.
Is there anyway you can put out a shout to see how many people would be interested ?

In the meantime i'll get the ones i've bought put on me van and put some pics up so you can see them and decide wether or not you'd like them.

I think the phone number is a mobile but it might just be used in working hours (i don't know).
It's not WHO is right it's WHAT is right.

I don't care what you think of my Tranny. To me she's solid gold.

Pow - he didn't say how much no. But i reckon the more people that want them the more of a bargaining tool you'll have priceswise.
I told him that i go on a transit forum and that some things aren't so easy to get hold of.
He seems ok. Get some numbers (people wanting the lights) and then talk to him.
While your waiting for people to declare an interest i'll put a picture of them fitted to my old girl. Some people might want to wait till they see them on a plain van like mine before they commit to buying.

yeah i will. Just as soon as there on.

Its motivated me to tidy her up a bit. Got a new bonnet and a new bumper to pick up on saturday evening.

You know what its like though. I've been busy for weeks now (mustn't complain being as how the building trade is for some these days). Just leaves me no time to get on with making her the best looking van in my close. As well as the oldest . . . ha !

Hey, i just been having a browse round this guys ebay shop and he sells the angel eye rings for £6.99 a pair. He also sells new mk5 headlights for £12.99.
It says in the spiel for the angel eyes that you gotta open up your headlights and you can fit them in yourself. I make that doable for less than £50. If you got the time and patience could be worth going that route.

I'd be interested if the price was a bit better as I was going to try and make them myself and doing it that ways it's a big saving, but if it would help the order anyone phoning him see if he'll come down maybe 10 or 15 quid he'll sell a lot more I'm sure.
Maybe he'd do them on an exchange basis, where you send him your old ones (only if there any good).

i have all the payment details so if you want a set send me a pm and ill send them to you asap, not sure if i can post his details, maybe a mod can put me striaght on this.

remember he needs a order of 10 or more once hes got the payment the lights will be with you within 10 days,go on people treat yourself :D

Caution - Hold your horses! I dealt with a well known (Unknown to me) Con in that area called Gary King.

Long story..bought some Transit parts, similar company set up....parts never arrived...many phone calls..months later...then his 'Company' liquidated and I got the solicitors letters through on the door matt. If its the same guy, he declares one company bankrupt and calls in the receivers and then starts up another two using a different address. He's well known in the area as a thieving scammer.

Luckily I paid on Visa credit card so I claimed the moneyback through that. The scamming B@stard took one local parts supply company over £10,000. I think his name was Gary King.

Be advised. Be wary. Pay on credit card, rather than debit card if you have to. Look at CC consumer protection - your better protected from bankrupt sellers and cons.

I'II find his old address out. May be unrelated...but chances are as I was after similar things a few years back...and the timing is about right if he was put away for a short stint.

Sorry to sh*t on your cheesecake.

This is a total understatement of the money he took people for and the scamming he did:

He's in Tiverton (47 miles away) so it may be unrelated, unless he's moved or has other premises...
