I have just ordered a new glass pair and will report back when fitted.

£59.80 delivered.

If yo're still not happy with them then get yourself a bi-xenon HID kit. Costs around £80 and takes about 40 minutes to fit. Make a hell of a difference and, before anyone asks, it doesn't cause any problems with the MoT as long as you get the 6000lumen kit so that the lights a nice and white rather than the 8000 where they are blue. No need for self-levelling etc, that only applies to lights fitted from manufacture.
Have HIDs in the Vectra and looking at bi-xenon HIDs for the Hillman Imp; my wife always has trouble seeing well at night and these have made a big difference for her driving at night now.
