it gave me more power and abit better mpg, but I only used it to blow the crud out of everything.

in my mates ldv pilot it made a huge difference. he couldn't get of fourth or above 50ish but after 2stroke he was cruising in 5th at 70mph. mind u his engine blew a seal a seal a year later which he blames on two stroke. only ran it throu engine for one tank but it blew out all the dirt holding everything together. he also claimed mpg went down after that tank, but then again, he wasn't going everywhere at a snails pace anymore.

I personally see better results from running a particular snake oil in the engine oil - my whole family uses it - its a friction eliminator and its bloody good stuff - but I shan't try to convince anyone cus not worth the effort :)

I use two stroke @ 250ml a tank all the time and I notice the engine is smoother. I used it on my last van two which I sold to a mate and every time I get back in I can tell he's not using two stroke as it sounds like a bag off bolts compared to when I had her :?

I've ran some through many times and really notice how much quieter the engine sounds when I do.

it not only lubes ya pump but your injectors and valve stems aswell, i use all the time, have only had benifits from it, quieter, quicker engine, recomend it to everyone i know, cannot see why people with petrol engines dont try it, after all 2 stroke is designed for petrol. may stick some in the wifes focus to see if it helps in that,
my advise may not be right, but I like to give my 10p worth, and an answer even if wrong is nice to see.

Petrols dont need the lubing the diesel high pressure pumps do, the old diesel has sulpher in it that did the same job, there is sonething in modern diesel but i dont work as well as the old sulpher did hense the oldrer the engine design the better it works to quieten it, my P100 totaly loves it as did my old Di transit
Not sure how it would lube the valve stems? the fuel dont touch them in Di, it goes straight in the combustion chamber :?

Use 2 stroke at about 300:1 in your diesel and next time you take the inlet manifold off or check the injectors you will be amazed at how clean they are. Sounds a bit weird, but makes an amazing difference. My Di sounds completely different with and without - much quieter and smoother when 'stroked' ... like the missus

I do 100ml of 2T oil to 20 quids worth of diesel, though with the rising cost of derv I reckon it would be 25 quids worth now!
Half the time I just glug a shot in, no real measurements, can't hurt anything if you do too much...

interesting you say any diesel engine can take it.

what about these modern electronic fuel pumps. can they take it? and is there any benefit with the electrics controlling everything?
