Front shocker turret?

The n/s front shocker turret seems in need of attention, a tad rusty underneath! How is it repaired? Is there a repair panel for it?

I asked about a repair panel back in 2013 (?) and since then I've seen a pic here of the panel but can't find. Anyone point me in the right direction? Anyone used this panel? Ta.

Has anyone here used them?
I'm guessing you drop the shocker, place the panel on top and bolt it up then weld as required?

nah, remove the rusted part completely (might help to leave a few mm as to guide in the new part), then weld on the new one, never weld on to rust if you can help it

I doubt that you would get it to fit bolting it up anyway, you'll have to cut away the old one to physically make room for it to fit.
