Yet again I miss the driving, even with no power steering... :(

Removed the washer bottle to underseal behind it. Glad I did as rust was just starting to take a hold.

Took the family out for a drive to flatford mill, went for a walk for a few hours, came back to a flat battery ! 3 year old was sat in the driver seat while I was brewing up some tea to take on the walk. Father in law had also come with us in his mk5 smiley. "lucky ive came so I can rescue you" he said, his battery was also dead as his 4 year old had also sat in the front and kicked the switch for his rear roof mounted spot lights ! Ended up push starting mine, then tried push his but was having none of it because his has no weight in the back so was just locking the wheels !
Luckily got it going with some crap old jump leads !
Then on the way home mine was running in the red on the temp gauge, had heating on full hot which bought it down a bit, then pull up on the drive to the smell of very hot brakes as the passenger calliper is now sticking !

Did I mention in going were both taking are vans to yorkshire next month ?! Lmao

Just did more woodwork as I still don't have the van :(

Was supposed to be prepping it for painting this weekend but that never happened. May have to talk to the boss about getting some afternoons off this week, or maybe a day, as that will knock a lot off the labour cost and I'm nearly skint now.

Chucked a load of baking soda paste on the bottom of my old floor mat in an effort to take out some of the rust stains. Already decided this is too much like hard work, and I'll just chuck plastic paint on it :P

Well done on the MOT :)

I started fitting insulation to the van and updated the progress report. It's coming along ... slowly.
Taken the day off tomorrow to work on it.

Lol, dont worry, that's in no fit state to move has an engine in but no loom, fuel tank, fuel lines or front end ! That's a project for another day.

Vans all done and back together now, had to take it back apart to adjust pump pully as smoked and ran like poop first time lol.
Runs good now though.

Now time for a hot shower as I'm completely soaked !
