Took off exhaust manifold, drilled out knackered bolt holes. Rethreaded and helicoiled.

The motor that I repaired, I gave to a comrade from Odessa.
He gave me two fuel pumps. Long.
I took off his problem motor and installed a refurbished one.
Yesterday he left and arrived safely home.
I'll repair the engine again.
Carried out the measurement of fuel consumption.
7.5 l / 100 km or 33.6 MPG (US)

Stripped and cleaned the filler cap after it had seized up at a fuel station. Luckily home was not far away and when I got back to fill up I managed to fit 70 litres in. A close call methinks.

Pulled the handbrake on and it went vertical

Bloody bracket has detached from the cross member.

shoddy workmanship/sub standard metal :(
You wouldn't expect this on a vehicle that's only 19 years old with a mere 204312 miles on it.

A man only has so much metal shelving to weld to a van
