Not used my Smiley campervan for a couple of years . Noticed bad milky appearance at bottom edge of windscreen.
This is what I found when i removed the plastic trim . Yuk!..
Don't let this happen to you . You need to remove the plastic trim to get at the lower edge of the windscreen .There is a 1/4" gap beneath the windscreen under the trim which gathers dust which turns into mud when it rains and seeps into the laminate at the edge of the screen.
I cleaned the area, dried it thoroughly and treated the rust. To hide the milky stain I am going to cut and fit a strip of vinyl tint across the lower edge of the windscreen . I expect it will need replacing periodically .
